How we make money
Nemus earns commission when readers buy through some of our links. We want to be completely plain about how that works, because a recommendation you can't trust is worth nothing to either of us.
The short version
Some of the links in our articles are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the retailer pays us a small commission. It costs you nothing — the price you pay is exactly the same as it would be if you'd found the product yourself.
That commission is how Nemus is funded. There is no paywall, no sponsored content, and no advertiser deciding what we cover.
What commission does not buy
This is the part that matters, so we'll be specific about it:
- Nobody can pay to be recommended. We don't accept payment for placement, ranking, or a favourable verdict. Not now, not at any price.
- Commission rate never affects our picks. We regularly recommend products that pay us less — or nothing at all — over products that pay more. If the cheaper option is the better option, the cheaper option is what we'll tell you to buy.
- We tell you when not to buy. "Skip this" and "keep the one you've got" are legitimate conclusions, and we publish them, even though they earn us nothing.
- Brands don't see articles before you do. No approvals, no review copy in exchange for coverage, no edits requested after publication.

Who we earn from
We participate in affiliate programmes including the Amazon EU Associates Programme and Holland & Barrett, and we may add others over time. Where an article contains affiliate links, you'll find a short disclosure at the top of that article as well as this sitewide page — we'd rather over-disclose than leave you guessing.
As an Amazon Associate, Nemus earns from qualifying purchases.
Prices and availability
Prices change constantly and we can't guarantee that a price quoted in an article is the price you'll see today. Anything we mention was accurate at the time of writing or last review. Always check the current price and specification on the retailer's own page before buying — that's the version that counts.
Getting it wrong
We will occasionally be wrong about something. When that happens, we correct the article and say what changed rather than quietly editing it. If you spot an error, a broken link, or a recommendation that no longer holds up, tell us at hello@getnemus.com and we'll look at it properly.
